A Butcher Block Like No Other

I have a butcher block that was in my grand parents house, and I miss just having the thing out. Our current kitchen has a big island with rollouts, and if we didn't have it - having a central workspace like this is critical.

"Block hard. We realize we are going way upscale with this one, but we saw this last week at a friend's house, used it and liked it more than any other (except for Ikea's - solely on price)."
