Orion Cooker: Outdoors but Near the Kitchen

Okay - so it's not in the kitchen - but it could be NEAR the kitchen. :-)

I really want a whole bunch of outdoor options for the Summer. Last year we bought a gas grill and have really enjoyed it alongside our smoker and charcoal grill. I was a charcoal purist - but I think Hank Hill may have converted us.

"While countless frustrated outdoor grill enthusiasts will be watching, basting and praying in the hopes of moist, tender meats from their traditional grills, Orion Cooker owners should be enjoying other activities while their ribs, turkeys, roasts and salmon cook to perfection without so much as a quick peek. Well, that's if you believe the company's marketing material."

You can purchase it from Home Depot & Ace Hardware as well as the orioncooker.com web site. If you go to the orioncooker.com web site and read the reviews, you will see where someone posted the ACE Hardware order # for this particular cooker. Good luck! It is a great cooker.

I have one of the Orion cookers and after the first use have fallen in love with it. Right now I have two whole chickens cooking and will have them ready to eat in a little over an hour and a half. For once I found a great deal.

Bass Pro Shops is probably the best bet. You can get it online through the website www.orioncooker.com go to retail stores and click on the Bass Pro Logo or you can go to a retail store in Concord, NC.
