Bodum Santos Vacuum Coffeemaker
We've yet to try vacuum coffee from this maker, but have tried it from the Black&Decker and liked the difference in taste. I do think the Bodum Santos Vacuum coffee maker does look a bit better. Water is heated in the lower jug on the stovetop or a spirit burner and eventually boils up through a funnel where it mixes with the ground coffee, once the coffee is brewed, the unit is removed from the heat and brewed coffee is released back into the lower jug. I just hope it makes a great brew.

If it's something you might want to use every day, you might want to consider the plastic electric version. I haven't used it, and it's a bit more expensive, but the glass version seems pretty delicate.
Good cup of Starbucks? Thanks, I needed a Friday laugh.
I would say that the flavor is a little more complex and even, but otherwise on par with a good presspot, with a finer sediment.
