Suck.uk Fridge Magnet Bottle Opener: Our Money Where Our Mouth Is
Earlier we covered the Danko fridge magnet bottle opener and tried to find one in the local Boston area on a routine kitchen gadget hunting expedition. Well, we didn't find the Danko version, but did find the Suck.uk version designed by Sam & Jude and it looks very similar. In purchasing such an item like an opener, you have to really want to put your money down as you know you'll be stuck with it and at $22.95 it's not cheap either.
We purchased the mirror plated version, and are now wondering if this is the right choice. After you open about 10 bottles of Sam's Summer Ale, you'll start to see your distorted reflection in the mirrored opener, and it can be unsettling as you get a little more loaded over the course of the evening. Everyone finds the Fridge Magnet to be quite stunning, and we mounted ours over the ice and water dispenser for perfect recognition that the fridge magnet exists.

We have but one complaint on the magnet front, it's not that it comes off the fridge, but when opening Guinness in the new bottle with nitrous, you have to put the bottle perpendicular to open, and it doesn't always break the little nitrous bottle at this angle, thus resulting in poor guinness (mind the pun).
We recommend the Suck.uk Fridge Magnet Bottle Opener with two caveats: ONE - opening Guinness in a bottle may be disappointing and TWO - seeing yourself in the mirrored reflection may be a bit unsettling as a night of drinking goes on. :-)
