Perfect Orwellian Kitchen Fish Bowl
We've been trying to shake it up a little bit this August and think outside that box of a thing you call a kitchen. We currently have lots of off the wall items in our kitchen - including a Flip-Flap solar powered plant from Japan - why not a fishbowl? If it looks this good, we think we may need to get one for our kitchen to be place right in back on the sink.
Cheung describes his inspiration for the 1984 Fishbowl as:
"Life inside a goldfish bowl ain't a lot of fun without a little privacy! The intention with 1984 was to create a true sense of abode for our beloved little friends; solid white walls and three generous (domed) portholes with views from the hallway to the living room"
The futuristic fish home that was the star of Australian design exhibition WORKSHOPPED 01 debuts for sale in September 2005. The 1984 Fishbowl has a recommended retail price of $395 and is available for sale through firstname.lastname@example.org
