Review: simplehuman compact dishrack
simplehuman was kind enough to send their compact dishrack for review in the Kitchen Contraptions test kitchen. Our current dishrack is the classic Bamboo, flex open, dishrack with little brass nails to hold it together. Over the past few years of owning such a dishrack, we've often wondered what it would be like to have a "real dishrack".
We now know what it's like to own a real dishrack. The simplehuman compact dishrack is such a step up we are a little overwhelmed by how much better something like a dishrack that's thought out can be.
The simplehuman compact dishrack has been streamlined to fit on the kitchen counter or in the sink. The integrated drip tray with built-in spout takes up less room on the counter and drains as efficiently as their larger models. The dishrack can also be used in the sink to completely free up counter space. It also features a rust-proof stainless steel with easy-to-clean ABS plastic parts and integrated drip tray that also functions as plate holder.

We put pots and pans, dishes, glasses, wine glasses, knives, you name it and the dishrack took it all. Instead of having a towel hiding our countertops with the Bamboo dishrack, the simplehuman compact dish rack sits on top of our countertops. It has little rubber feet on the bottom that hold it in place on our countertops, and we loved the way the water drained out the spout right into the sink.
We love the simplehuman compact dishrack. It's pretty amazing what a little thought can do for an item you use everyday.
