Intelligent Spoon

I keep warning against it, but they keep trying to make our gadgets smarter. Those crazy kids at MIT are working on an intelligent spoon that is equipped with sensors that measure temperature, acidity, salinity, and viscosity. The spoon can then tell you what the next step should be--for example, it tells the user if there is not enough salt in the brine prepared to make pickles.
