Best Thermal Coffee Maker

During the heat test, this model maintained over 90% of its peak temperature four hours after brewing. Hammacher Schlemmer doesn't have the exclusive on this Zojirushi machine. Called the "Fresh Brew EC-BD15", it's been on the market for a few years. Consumer Reports (1/09) pitted it against 22 other models in the 8-12 cup carafe category. It came in 4th behind Cuisinart Brew Central, Michael Graves 40304, and Oster Counterforms 4281.
