"Genius" ? well maybe. I ordered one from PCD over a year ago. the dice of the garlic is insanely perfect ... to the extent that I started using it (non-commercially) mind you to reduce all my garlic that I use. If you use a handful of cloves a week? It's going to delight you. If as Alton Brown says "Garlic? Don't need no 'reason'". Then it'll blow out (as mine did) in a few weeks. The casing is steel, the mesh cutters are steel but the stupid internal spiral threads? are plastic and strip. Truely another creation by the enginnering community. The "oh! I didn't know you actually wanted it to 'work'" Gang.
