Zojirushi 3-Cup Rice Cooker and Warmer, Stainless Steel

B000G30ESY.01._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

We keep looking at rice cookers. I don't know that this one is any better than any others, but I like that it is stainless steel. And isn't how it looks really the most important thing? :-)

Producing restaurant-quality rice at home is practically foolproof with this 3-cup electric rice cooker and warmer. Multi-menu selections using micro-computerized Fuzzy logic technology control the temperature for efficient cooking of many different types of rice including white, sushi, porridge, brown, and quick cooking. The unit's automatic keep-warm function keeps rice at an ideal serving temperature until it's ready to be served. For added convenience, the appliance comes equipped with an extra-large colored LCD display with clock and timer function, a spherical inner nonstick cooking pan and heating system, a convenient detachable inner lid for easy cleaning, and a built-in retractable cord to help keep countertops tidy. Accessories include a measuring cup, nonstick rice spatula, and spatula holder. With its durable clear-coated stainless-steel exterior, the 450-watt rice cooker measures 11-1/2 by 9 by 7-1/4 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Zojirushi makes the best rice cookers in the world. We own one with fuzzy logic and it makes better rice (and makes it easier) than any other rice cooker we have owned, ever. We especially love the little marks in the cooking pan that measures the amount of water to put in. Perfect rice every time!

I have the 5.5 cup sanyo micom (model ecjd55s). I love it too, and the rice is restaurant quality. Mine is easy to clean. But fair warning, it does take longer than a stovetop to cook rice. But it is one of the must-have's in my kitchen.
