REVIEW: Gel Pro Chef's Mat

I read the coment about the Gel Pro mats edges curling.Our mats are about 3 years old and are also curling.They have gotten to be a trip hazzard and I am thinking of removing them.They are very comfortable to stand on but the hazzard they pose is not worth the risk.

Major pros, major con. If you read a wide range of reviews there's a problem that occurs with these mats, though they are extremely comfortable and attractive: the edges curl up and become trip hazards. No matter how you try to correct the curling, it comes back. I bought two mats 5 years ago and within a month they were curling. Gel Pro replaced both of them, as they did one of my clients who had the same problem, but it happened again. They said they'd corrected the issue, but I do not believe this is true. Too many people have written reviews complaining of the same thing, but Gel Pro continues to produce a product with a major flaw. It's not right that they market this item when there's something dangerous and wrong with it. It's too easy to trip on it. It's too bad because it's got comfort, elegance, and longevity going for it.

I love my chef's mat. I stand in my kitchen for long periods and this mat takes a lot of stress off of my feet and lower back. I hightly reccomend it. My daughter is buying one this weekend. It is worth every dollar.
