Dyson DC15 Cyclone Vacuum Cleaner - Kid and Animal Approved

41EG9ZNTPNL._AA280_.jpg

You need a really good vacuum with two kids. We're not sure if Dyson only designed this to use with pets in your house, but aren't kids just crazy messy pets? This all-floors upright vacuum cleaner with motorized brushbar, has Dyson's Root8Cyclone technology. If you've ever used a Dyson, you know you'll get powerful, continuous suction, and the kitchen floor and even counters after baking will be clean. Also - this thing can suck up about a thousand Cheerios a minute when our kids decide to spill them everywhere.

I'm not sure...I know someone who swears by the Dyson for cat hair-they have 2 cats and her husband is allergic. I'm told it works like a charm. Maybe it depends on the model.

Unless you prefer spending $350-$400 you don't have to, you can get a vacuum that's even better. See Consumer Reports for details; the Dysons generally place in the middle of the pack, performance-wise, and are vastly more expensive than a bog-standard Eureka or Hoover.
