Fresh Butter Maker

I've been reading Little House in the Big Woods with my daughter and it got me thinking about butter churning. With this churner, you can make fresh butter by pouring cream into the jar and then turning the hand crank until it stiffens.

you can do the same thing with a hand mixer and a jar. or just a jar and you shake it. also it's extremely easy to make butter in a stand mixer. according to one woman i spoke to, she accidentally makes butter often when she is just trying to make whipped cream.
