Kapoosh Knife Holder, Woodgrain Finish

We just got some new knives and they don't fit in our old knife block. I'm thinking we may need to get one of these. The Kapoosh knife holder holds any knife at any time without the need for special slot. It has rods that allow you to mix and match kitchen knives from different sets or store any utensils anywhere in the block. The rods are removable and dishwasher safe.

Hi! Great site. You're on my "daily read" list. A word of experience on these knife blocks. If this knifeblock is filled with what I think it's filled with - a gazillion black plastic strands - it's actually not as smart as one might think. I bought a similar product from WMF, and it was great until the strands started becoming twisted and/or split inside the block and restricting the space for knives. (Yes, I keep my knives very sharp.) To try and fix the problem I cut away the offending strands, but this made the whole thing looser and the knives started getting into contact with one another. I finally replaced it with a better knife block from Eva Solo, which is the one I use now. Link: http://www.evasolo.com/products-knifestand.html
