UKO - Unidentified Kitchen Object - Help Our Reader

Mary has written in asking for us to identify this rather strange looking kitchen gadget? Do you know what it is? We sure don't. It might be some avocado thing? An egg lifter? If you know please sound off in the comment and help us find out what it is.

It was a party giveaway from Tuooerware in the middle 80's.
Yes it is for lifting eggs.

It's, as you guessed, for lifting boiling eggs out of the pot.

My mom had one & may still. She always used it to remove boiled eggs from the hot water.
