Pure Komachi 2 Series 6-1/2-Inch Hollow Ground Santoku Knife


We've been using this style of multipurpose knife because they're ideal for slicing, chopping, and mincing, and the hollow-ground edge helps reduce friction for easy slicing and releasing food from the blade. This one is made from high-carbon stainless-steel blade retains super-sharp edge over time, and the color is made by bonding food-safe FDA-approved resin to the stainless-steel blade (come on - you need a pink kitchen knife). The non-stick resin coating resists corrosion, makes cleaning simple, and helps blade glide through food with ease. We think any knife shaped like this basically makes vegetable prep a breeze.
