Oxo Good Grips Apple Corer and Slicer

My son goes to a preschool where once a month he's the assistant to the teacher and they have to bring in a snack. Each month we typically do apple slices, and our current apple slicer is no Porsche like the Oxo Good Grips. We long for the lifted, nonslip handles that keep hands above the cutting surface. The rubber handles absorb pressure, putting less tension on hands after cutting 10+ apples. We'll see if we can get our hands on one of these and enjoy prepping apple slices a little more.
