Kitchen Scale Built into Floating Bowl

This bowl from Bilancia di Archimede allows you to plunge the bowl into water and the lines on the side given how immersed the bowl is tell you how much food is in the bowl. Pretty interesting but not that practical, but then great design sometimes is about moments that never seem to happen in the kitchen.
