The Excalibur 3900W 9 Tray deluxe dehydrator is highly advanced as it is equipped with a thermostat and on/off button. It is convenient to use for preparing dried foods as you can just simply put all your fruit and vegetables in the dehydrator and by morning all your food items placed in will be sufficiently dried and ready to eat. Due to its large number of trays it has a large surface area so you can prepare dried foods in nay quantity you like. It also is time efficient as you can obtain perfectly natural dried foods and snacks within 26 hours. Prepare sundries tomatoes which are extremely difficult to make, within hours by drying them in the Excalibur dehydrator while you sit in your living room watching TV. It also highly concentrates flavor of foods so thats why after drying fruits taste even better. Very convenient to use and easy to clean afterwards. Another major advantage of this dehydrator is that you can save tons of money by drying your own apricots, apples, bananas and other fruit instead of buying them from a health shop. You have delicious dried druit just with a touch of a button. It provides you the opportunity to experiment on drying anything you like even vegetables. You can preserve lots of food as it has a large capacity and no need to keep monitoring it as its automatic.

Cons:
The only possible draw back of Excalibur 3900W 9 Tray deluxe dehydrator is that is does not include any solid mats which are required for watery food items you may want to dry. Without solid mats watery foods tend to drip a lot. So these would have to be purchased seperately. But mostly food that is dried doesnt pose this problem so it might be an issue for a majority of people.

Conclusion:
If you are looking for a superior quality dehydrator suitable for large amounts of drying foods conviently then this is the product for you. I bought my Excalibur nine tray in 1979 and happy to say i still use it. It is a little worse for wear, had to glue velcro to the door so it will stay shut (my fault, dropped it ) If by chance this one ever quits, will buy another one.
