This is a new one for the Pots and Pans section here at Kitchen Contraptions. These rather oversized silicone bowls can be used for mixing, baking, and other kitchen uses. You can safely wrap and roast a fish in these babies, and they wash up easily. Killer idea.

Each year we make a ton of pies and other desserts only to find cleaning up with just a cloth a total pain. We've got another handheld vacuum besides this one, but the Black and Decker pivots making cleanup a bit easier. This cordless 2-speed handheld vacuum is also smaller, quieter and easier to clean than original model. It has 18 volts of power and high performance motor with cyclonic action to suck up all those kitchen messes. The on-board brush and extendable crevice tool--means no loose accessories while you clean. Also there's no need to buy filters or bags - it has a removable, washable dirt bowl and filters.
Yep - Breville makes a personal pie maker and now we're pretty sure our bellies will get not bigger but much bigger over the winter months. Perfectly-crimped pies will set you back $80, and it's available exclusively at Williams Sonoma.
We've yet to purchase a deep fat fryer, but we do love the design of this 840-watt stainless-steel deep fryer for making fried foods at home. We're big chicken strip eaters as of late, and mostly bake them, but having the option to be naughty and deep fry could be a nice treat.
This fryer holds 4-1/4 cups of oil and 1-1/4 quarts of fresh food, and features a see-through lid to see how the cooking is going. The adjustable thermostat has a "ready" indicator light. Frying food can also be quite stinky, and this fryer has a odor-reducing filter to alleviate some of the after smell.
If you're storing your cooking utensils in a drawer you need to move on. This large kitchen crock holds a drawer full of utensils, freeing up space in your drawers for things you need to store away. The stoneware features a colorful enamel coating that resists scratching, chipping, staining, and cracking.
Now that the weather is a bit cooler, and we're watching more movies in the evening each Fall we eat more popcorn instead of other snacks. We're a sea salt and olive oil popcorn family, and perhaps it's time to get a dedicated popcorn maker for those big movie nights.
This popcorn maker with motorized stirring mechanism for better popping has special vents that let moisture escape to keep popcorn crisp, which is often a problem when you make it in a large pot. It also has a removable nonstick cooking plate, and dishwasher-safe bowl.
This extra-large countertop oven with broil, convection, bake, and rotisserie functions can also make mid size pizzas with ease. It features a 10- to 120-minute timer or "stay on" option for extra long cooking times. It's adjustable temperature up to 500 degrees F allows you to cook and sear, and the spacious interior can fit a 5-pound chicken or 2 12-inch pizzas. Includes two cooking racks, two baking pans, broiler rack, rotisserie skewer, and rotisserie lifter.
Bialetti sent us this amazing set of pots and pans over a month ago, and we have to say - wow. This 3-piece saute pan set includes: - 8" (20cm) Saute Pan - 9.5" (24cm) Saute Pan - 11" (28cm) Saute Pan. The three pans clean up really well, and feature coatings free of PFOA, free of PTFE and free of Cadmium.
The interior features a new "nano-ceramic" coating which is a water-based coating made of titanium and suspended silicate micro-particles (the main component of glass). This material resists scratches, abrasions and offers a smooth, compact and uniform surface that makes it easier to clean.
The white color provides a unique and extraordinary cooking experience, and they aren't kidding. You can really see what you're cooking and the sauce, oil, or other coverage when you are heating up the pan or deglazing. The base provides excellent thermal conductivity and guarantees optimum heat distribution resulting in less energy required to maintain desired cooking temperature. The also scratch resistant hi-temp silicone exterior makes this cookware easy to clean.
We think for the $79.99 these pans cost, we would have paid double for their ease of use and the experience of the cookware surface.
We're in need of a blender, and this powerful 500 watt motor blends, chops, grinds, grates, and crushes ice. It has 2 speeds plus low-speed pulse function for just the right amount of control. There's a 40-ounce, ribbed-and-tapered glass container which sits on a classic beehive-shaped base clad in chrome.
We use our Nespresso Essenza each week for a treat of some very yummy coffee. This single-serve manual espresso machine designed for use with Nespresso coffee-filled capsules is also very affordable at $149.95. It features a high-pressure 19-bar pump, thermoBlock heating system, and has manual volume control to pour the shot of espresso you want. Capsules eject automatically into collection container, and 12 capsules are included to get you started.
I love a cool plate. With these plates, you can learn geography while you eat. These porcelain plates feature a city's downtown core printed on a black background. Key building and rivers and public spaces are all represented. The cities represented are Chicago, Berlin, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, Paris, Rome, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Washington DC.
Still one of the best and best selling food processors on the market, the Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic includes a steel blade, dough blade, slicing disc, and shredding disc. The extra-large feed tube is great for larger food slices, and all of the parts are dishwasher-safe parts. It also comes with a five-year full motor warranty, and three-year limited entire unit warranty.
My Drap Cotton napkins and place mats are to us exactly what you need to make dinner parties fresh and exciting without the waste. These napkins and place mats come in a variety of colors, and you simply tear them off a roll and use them at your dinner party or regular dinner. They are made of cotton so after use you can reuse them with a simple wash. We tried them out over the course of 2 weeks and found them to be a refreshing change to paper napkins and then washed them found them equally as good the second time. Great stuff and a very interesting product we think you'll enjoy. Thanks to My Drap for sending these to us to review.
Your morning coffee is important and having the coffee ready and also of high quality is also important. The Mr. Coffee DRX5 4-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker features an on/off indicator light lets you know when your coffeemaker is on or off, and a removable filter basket lifts out for fast and easy filling and cleaning. Our favorite feature has to be the brewing pause 'n serve which lets you pour a cup of coffee while the coffeemaker is still brewing. The dual water window shows the amount of water in the reservoir for accurate filling, and there's even cord storage which safely stores excesscord to keep your counter neat.
We love a little Aebleskiver action as the winter and fall weather get a bit colder. This pan makes 7 pancakes measuring 6.5 inches/16.5cm diameter and 2 inches/5cm deep. If you're looking for a great Aebleskiver recipe we think we found one. Oh, and the pan is made of cast iron so don't soak it after making a yummy apple filled Aebleskiver.
We bake our own bread for the holidays, and we often want our slices of bread to be perfect for the holiday meal. With this bread slicer and crumb catcher you can make the perfect slices happen. Crumbs fall neatly into a removable catcher, and the generous slicing surface accommodates any size loaf. All of this is accomplished by acrylic slicing guides that ensure uniform slices.
We love on instant hot water dispenser for tea and cleaning up tough dishes, but if you can't plumb your kitchen for one this on demand hot water dispenser will get you half way. It heats 16 oz. of water faster than a microwave and auto shut off turns unit off immedialey after cycle is completed. The space saving design fits conveniently on countertops, desktops and more.
