We think given the control you can do with your iPod or iPhone this makes for a great kitchen radio. You can enjoy unlimited music, wirelessly play iTunes, free Internet radio, Pandora, Napster and more. They've even recently updated the Sonos to use Spotify and others. The simple setup and wireless expandability to play different songs in different rooms (you can sync up multiple Sonos boxes for around the house sound) makes this an amazing product. Sonos requires a high-speed Internet connection and wireless router.

That's right the Kindle Fire is finally shipping, and we think Amazon's answer to the iPad is the touch pad for your kitchen. Why? Well the price and the size makes it take less room and less of your money for a kitchen computer. Also the content and amount of access to it stored in the cloud make it desirable when it falls into a batch of cookie batter to lose all of your purchases. We welcome the new Kindle Fire and think this is the touch tablet for the kitchen we've been waiting for.

It's been about 3 years since our last toaster oven upgrade, and we think it's about time we upgrade our toaster again. The Bertazzoni Master Series Pro-Style Gas Range is gorgeous in design, and exceptional in functionality. The range can be lit with a match if you don't have power, and the oven has one safety feature which is very nice, the door never gets hot. The top of the range features a flat surface so moving pots and pans around is never an issue. We love the stainless steel design here because it truly feels and looks flat and inviting yet very clean in the design of the edges.

It's been a week of coffee makers here at Kitchen Contraptions and why not finish it out with one of the best. The coffee maker comes assembled and requires only that the brewhead wand, filter basket and covers be installed. The filter basket, basket cover and water chamber cover are black plastic. The brewhead wand is stainless steel. There are nine holes in the brewhead which distribute water effectively onto the coffee The TV also has two heating coils rather than one to help maintain a high enough water temperature to make an amazing cup of coffee.

The Fretta V60 Ice Coffee Maker is a unique design which combines a 02 size dripper cone similar to the Hario VD-02T with a 600ml glass carafe. The curved ridges on the inside of the cone aid in the control of water flow as it interacts with coffee grounds.
The plastic diffuser allows for quicker cooling and a more balanced flow of coffee over the ice, resulting in less melting.
