I love these nesting bowls. This set has 8 items that all stack, starting with a 1/4 cup measuring cup and going up to a large colander. You can get the set in plain white or multi-colors.
Winner of the 2008 red dot award for International Design Excellence, this salad spinner really just works. It features a fast-action pump dry technology, and the bowl doubles as serving piece. We love the lid lock feature, and also how easy it is to store in the fridge and in your cabinets.
In the lettuce goes.
Lock it in place.
And if your our 4 year old daughter, you have fresh spinning clean salad as a result.
Silicone has invaded the classic mixing bowl. The benefit of the silicone is that the rim forms a spout, which is helpful if you are pouring into a narrow space like a stand mixer or a food processor. It has a rigid bottom for stability while mixing. It is available in red, white, and wasabi.
This bowl looks porcelain, but it is actually made out of flexible rubber, so you can bend the bowl into any shape you want. It can supposedly be formed into any shape imaginable. Some examples are a cone shaped deep bowl, a bowl with a collar, a bowl with an inner cone, a low bowl with various compartment, or a zigzagged plate.
These look like some sturdy mixing bowls. These set of three bowls has rubber non-slip bottoms that allow the bowl to sit firmly on the counter. The bowls also have a wide, angled spout. Each set includes one 1.5 quart bowl, one 3 quart bowl, and one 5 quart bowl.
You learn something new every day. Apparently copper reacts with egg whites, causing stiffer peaks that stay firm for longer. That is why this mixing bowl, made with unlined copper, is perfect for egg whites. It is also supposed to be good for sugar and chocolate, as well.
These are some cute prep bowls. Each earthenware bowl has a different vegetable inside it. They come in a set of five and are microwavable and dishwasher safe.
Bowls made with bamboo are supposed to be better for the environment. These 6" bowls are coiled by hand and finished with a food-safe lacquer. They come in eight different colors.
I don't understand this at all, but supposedly the concept of this fruit bowl is to use a little electricity to keep your fruit and vegetables chilled on the countertop. It is not clear whether you need to plug it in to an outlet or not.
