We like this personal coffeemaker which brews directly into 15-ounce travel mug. Often times in the morning we're ready to just make a personal cup of coffee, and then get into our morning groove. The stainless-steel mug tapered to fit most vehicle cup holders is sleek, and the permanent filter eliminates need for disposable paper filters. It also features an auto shut-off if you forget and leave it on.

We've always wanted a french press, and this 8-cup, 34-ounce French press coffee maker allows you to brew flavorful coffee in 4 minutes - so sign us up. The beaker is made of ultra-light, heat-resistant borosilicate glass; polypropylene handle and base. And the french press features a 3-part stainless steel mesh filter that helps extract your coffee's aromatic oils and subtle flavors. All parts are dishwasher safe, and we hope to get one of these for some on the deck coffee for morning breakfasts soon.

We're on the hunt for a good coffee grinder that we can use in the test kitchen, and this sturdy and durable coffee grinder features a stainless-steel bowl and blades. It's also got enough grinding power to grind up 2-1/2-ounces of our favorite coffee which is enough for 12 cups of coffee. It's got easy-to-read measurement markings on the lid, and stores comfortably on counter or in cabinet with a stowaway cord. We also like the shape of this grinder, with an easy to hold shape.

We're more of a single serve coffee maker family here at Kitchen Contraptions, but we also do take out the bigger coffee maker when we want to make a full pot of something special, and take it with us. This 24-hour fully programmable coffeemaker with 12-cup capacity from Cuisinart fits the bill. It features a double-wall insulated thermal carafe, and built-in automatic burr grinder. The strength selector and grind control fine-tune intensity in the coffee you brew along with the volume. And a must have - a brew-pause function so you can catch a cup before brewing the entire pot.

We like a good coffee talk, but this coffee maker takes it to a new level. This is the first voice-interactive coffee maker that asks, "Would you like to set the clock or set the coffee brewing time?" and operates in response to your verbal commands. Simply saying, "Set the coffee brewing time," or "Set the clock," will prompt the machine to reply, "Please say the time, including AM or PM." It uses an advanced voice recognition system to identify any time of day you speak, eliminating the hassle of fussing with buttons. The included reusable, dishwasher-safe plastic filter is specially designed to allow the water to thoroughly saturate coffee grounds, maximizing the richness and aroma of coffee. The coffee machine brews up to 10 cups at once and allows you to remove the carafe during brewing to pour a cup.

This is the coffee maker that brews with cold water to reduce the acid in coffee by 69.6%, producing rich, flavorful coffee. Independent laboratory tests confirm the hourglass significantly reduces the acidic compounds and tannic acids in coffee that can cause heartburn and create bitter tastes.
Cold brewing produces a concentrated coffee extract that retains flavor-enhancing essential oils that are lost when coffee beans are exposed to heat. The hourglass does not require any electricity; simply combine 2 1/4 cups of coarsely ground coffee beans with 3 1/2 cups of water in the brewing chamber and allow the coffee to infuse with the water for 12 to 24 hours. When the infusion process is complete, turn the hourglass over and 16 oz. of extract instantly drains through a reusable stainless steel filter and into the extract chamber.

We love the design of this coffee maker because it reminds us of Blade Runner. We're pretty sure this was in the apartment of Harrison Ford's character, and probably was designed by Syd Mead. This 6-cup coffee/tea maker comes with a charcoal filter for fresh taste, and features a built-in coffee-bean grinder. It even has a specially designed tea basket, and keep-warm function.

We really like the looks of this retro-style, brushed stainless-steel coffeemaker. It brews 12 5-ounce cups, and features a 24-hour clock/timer for wake-up coffee. It even has brew-pause for grabbing a cup while brewing is in progress, and has the much desired eco-friendly programmable shut-off. It has loads of other features including a gold cone filter, charcoal filter for water, and the carafe is easy to use and pour.
