Mobile Beer Bar for Free Standing Kitchens

Seriously - why didn't we think of this for our free standing kitchen earlier? This mobile beer bar has a built-in refrigeration unit to keep the beer cool, even when not being powered, and even has changeable side tops, with additional cooking tops available. Where do you put the keg? The bar features a large central compartment with CO2 gas cylinder barrel of 30 Lt, and has electrical power of 300 W for everything else along with an 8kg Ice Storage compartment. We think after you load it up it's not going to be that mobile, but it sure will look great in your patio or perhaps even your kitchen.

Free Standing Kitchen Island of Your Bachelor Pad Future

This simple but elegant bowl shaped free standing kitchen island has lots of cool features. There is built in storage around the base, with an integrated sink and cooktop. There's also pull out seating (check out the full set of picks here). We love the way it feels approachable, versus just a functional kitchen island. The best part is there's even a micro-fridge in the design pics.

Acme Natural Top/White Kitchen Cart - Portable Kitchen Island

There are days where having a 20"W 20"L 36"H kitchen cart would just help in our kitchen. We used to have a kitchen island and we miss it terribly. Free standing kitchen stuff we think is the way to go. Imagine rolling this out for prep, or just to serve appetizers on when hosting a party. Killer.

Contemporary Kitchen Microwave Cart with Drop Leaves - Free Standing Kitchen Fun

We think of the rolling microwave cutting board cart as one of the first free standing kitchens. We don't currently have room for such a cart in our kitchen, but if you do - it's a think of beauty. We used to have one and would roll it out and put all the h'orderves on it when having parties. It's a also great to set a slow cooker on.
This practical contemporary kitchen cart has two drop leaves, one on each side, providing room for food preparation and also helping to minimize the space it needs when not in use. The working drawer provides storage for utensils. Dishes, pots, or glasses can be conveniently stored in the cabinet with two doors. This mobile kitchen cart can be eaily moved when needed with the smart and functional casters, and like we said rolled out at parties.

The Ekokook Kitchen - An Eco Kitchen Fun to Cook In

Ekokook's entire layout has been well thought out with fresh vegetable storage, water conservation, container gardening, waste sorting, recycling, and composting in mind. Each bin does some green function including a built-in compost ready locker to ensure you'll return the unused food back to mother earth. We also love the lines of the design with bright white and chartreuse green colors screaming modern and eco-friendly. If you combine the Ekokook with the Cornucopia food replicator of the future, we think you'll have the best of the eco and future world's of cooking.

Electrochef All-In-One Kitchen Circa 1920 - Totally Retro Kitchen

I've actually seen one of these kitchens at a camp growing up in Northern Maine. I was always in awe of it, and thought somehow the hoses carried food stuff into the little fridge as well. The Electrochef all-in-one kitchen from 1920 still feels as if it's from the future. It featured an adjustable height oven, four-burner stove and a small storage space hidden below (so I guess the food feeding tube was all in my head.)

Portable Kitchen Cubes - Pick Yours A La Carte

You can configure these kitchen cubes in any configuration you desire - a stove, sink, and counter top are the options to pick from, and you can have multiple cubes of each as well. Each piece is 2 feet wide and one foot deep unassembled, which means they'll fit into tight spaces, and smaller apartments. These are perfect for a summer home or camp renovation, or perhaps you have a loft they'd look good in as well.
