Cook your food on a block of salt! These blocks are made of translucent pink salts. You can use them to cook meat or fish. They can go on the grill or in the oven. You can also chill them to serve cold food such as sushi. The blocks are anti-microbial. You clean them with a brush, pat down, and then air dry.

What to do some grilling and frying at the same time? Maybe some steak and eggs for breakfast? George Foreman has a grill and griddle combination. There are two separate temperature controls to cook each food perfectly. The grill has a floating hinge to accommodate food of varying thicknesses.

Warmer weather means time to think about grilling. I've never seen anything like this before. This set of two cast-iron humidifiers for the grill allow you to grill tender meat and seafood. You fill the boxes with water, beer, wine, juice, or other flavoring. While you grill, steam is released, adding moisture to the food.

We've been looking for a good alternative when using our gas grill when it comes to using mesquite or any wood chips you want for a smoky alternative. This durable, nonstick metal smoker box is V-shaped to fit between flame deflector bars on gas grills. Our Weber gas grill (read our review here) has been an incredible addition to our food filled lives, and combined with the rotisserie attachment we see some smoky meat in our future.

Steak Station can monitor four steaks at the same time, allowing those commanding the grill to confidently cook multiple steaks each to the desired degree of doneness (we'll take medium rare please). A monitor allows for quick and easy evaluation of how much a steak has been cooked. The colorful Steak Station probes measure from 115°F to 170°F, indicating a complete spectrum of doneness and helping you remember whose steak is whose. Steak Station can also be used in the oven as a regular meat thermometer to monitor meats throughout the cooking process, and it's only going to set you back $29.99 when it's released later this year.

This is an interesting gadget for grilling - a Barbecue Hand Crank Fire Air Blower for any grilling situation. This is a hand powered, cranked, BBQ Bellow so you don't have to blow to get things started to get the smoke and flavor moving around the grill. The unit produces a steady and regulated air flow no matter how fast or hard you crank the handle. A steady supply of oxygen is most effective in helping you get the most out of your barbecue. This special kind of Hand Crank Blowers for BBQ stops dust and sparks while working.

Grill indoors or outdoors with this George Foreman grill. The grill can be placed either directly on a tabletop or on its pedestal. To grill, you just need to plug it in and wait for the surface to heat up. It has a nonstick grill surface with a subtle slope that draws fat or other liquids into a tray below the surface.

We recently upgraded this Summer from our Weber Q 200 gas grill when we finally got the Kitchen Contraptions porch upgraded and made a bit larger to accommodate seating and most of all a larger grill. After much deliberation we went with the Weber Genesis Special Edition EP-310 Propane Gas Grill. We loved the look of the grill right away, and we knew we could get the Weber rotisserie attachment for it, along with the Special Edition Genesis having some improvements in the drip tray area and other niceties like a built in gas gauge.
Weber Genesis Special Edition EP-310 Propane Gas Grill Features:
- 637 sq. in. cooking space
- 42K BTUs
- 3 stainless steel burners
- Porcelain lid with stainless steel trim
- 7MM stainless steel rod cooking grates (we chose not to use these and buy additional cast iron grates from Weber - as we prefer that surface and the way it seasons the bars)
- Stainless steel flavorizer bars
- Stainless steel wire warming rack
- Electronic ignition
- Stainless steel working surface
- Tank not included
- Color we chose was Black
One thing as noted above, we didn't use the stainless steel cooking grates, but instead decided to get an additional set of the cast iron grates to cook on. We haven't liked stainless steel cooking grates when we've used them, and this was our decision. We like the way the cast iron grates season, and we just like the look as well.
