Van Vacter Avocado Knife

544353v1.jpg

This looks like a cool alternative to the various other avocado implements out there. The knives serrated blade cuts through the peel, sharp spikes remove the pit, the rounded tip slices and dices, and the flat side of the blade removes the peel.

Banpresto Feeling Egg Waterproof Lifestyle Lights

Banpresto-Feeling-Egg-Led

Sometimes we'd like some eggs for the kitchen that you don't need to cook. Continuing in it’s never-ending quest to get everyone to relax with LED lights, Banpresto has released a miniature version of the popular Bath Palette that can be used just about anywhere including the kitchen. Much like the Bath Palette, the Feeling Eggs are waterproof and can be used in the tub, shower, or pretty much anywhere you’d like to add some color for relaxation. While they don’t change colors, they do fade in and out to create a “living” effect.

Stay-Cool Microwave Liner

81390.jpg

Our bowls and plates get very hot in the microwave, so I could really use this. You put this liner under your dish, and it stays cool in the microwave, so you can easily lift out the dish. It is also a good way to contain messes.

Barking hot dog cooker

Barking-Hot-Dog-Cooker

We don't really have any novelty items in our kitchen, and we don't have a hot dog cooker. But given how popular hot dogs are with the kids, this might be a really good way to get more sodium into our diets. The best thing about the Baring Hot Dog Cooker is the fact it delivers on the name - barking when your dogs are done instead of tired, and it only costs $35 bucks.
