This could be really handy if you are grilling in the winter--you don't have to keep going outside to check the temperature of your food. It can also be used in the oven. You program the thermometer for the type of meat and doneness level and stick in the probe. The wire from the probe is attached to a monitor. The pager will alert you when the meat reaches its doneness level. This remote meat thermometer allows you to monitor two types of meat at two different doneness levels.
