Clamp Bots Save Spoons and Counter Space

Spoons can make a mess when cooking, simmering, and sipping is involved. These clamp bots that look like Pac-man attacking a spoon will help with the mess. We think this is a great alternative and space saver over a spoon rest that sits on the counter.

Taylor Commercial Waterproof Digital Thermometer - Know Your Kitchen Temperatures

We use one of these to measure the temp in our teas we brew, but they're really great for meats, candies, and other cooking in your kitchen. This water-proof thermometer displays an easy-to-read 4-digit LCD readout on a 1-inch dial, and the 5-inch stainless-steel stem stores in an antibacterial storage and carrying sleeve. Temperature range is from -40 to 450 degrees F, and -40 to 230 degrees C, and an on/off button protects the life of the battery.

Misto Gourmet Brushed Aluminum Olive Oil Sprayer and Mister

We've always had a Misto in our kitchen, and we love having it to mist olive oil onto pans while cooking, and other items we're prepping like muffins and breads. You simply pump the Misto after filling with olive oil to make the Misto work. You can also use your favorite vegetable oil as well in it.

Oransi Fridge Air Purifier - Keep Your Fridge Smelling Fresh

The Oransi Ionic Fridge air purifier cleans the air in your refrigerator so it smells amazing by emitting ozone. We've been using it in our fridge here in the Kitchen Contraptions test kitchen over the holidays and into the new year and love it. There is a fresh difference and we think the difference is even a little better than our baking soda in a box we typically use. It's also very compact and can be put anywhere in the fridge to keep it fresh.

  • Patented Piezo-electric ionizer (ozone safe - 0.011 ppm, that’s more than 78% below the FDA limit)
  • Micro CPU controls the operation of the air purifier to cycle between on/off mode
  • LED display indicates mode of operation
  • Noise Level: Silent

We never thought there would be an ozone unit that would work in our fridge, and now we're happy to share it with you. Thanks to Oransi for sending this over for us to review.

The Ultimate Garlic Press from Paderno

If you're going to make a meal with garlic, you're going to need a commercial quality garlic press, and this one from Parderno is one of the best we've tried. The stainless steel construction has a comfortable grip, and it's easy to use once you've got your garlic cloves. We've had more complicated presses, and we just like this classic design because it doesn't get all gummed up and works consistently.

Click and Cook Modular Cooking Ware

This multi-purpose snap-together kitchen gadget is available to purchase. Typically we see these devices of the future and they never come to be, but you can purchase this one. Why? The creators are a small design team that takes bids on winning designs you choose to sponsor. We think the Click and Cook must have been a no brainer. We're tired of having a bucket full of utensils when we only ever use 2-3 tops when cooking.
