Breadbin With Cutting Board Lid

17Living-Kitchen-Bread-Bin- I need more gadgets that double as other gadgets or just things. Heck I'd take a car that doubled as a truck. This Breadbin doubles as a bin and a cutting board. Take the lid off and flip it over and you've got yourself bread storage and cutting. Comes in the dreamy Creamy blue or Creamy White.

Flexicado™ Avocado Slicer

Flexicado I usually end up with half mush and half eaten mush off of my hands when I try and peel, slice, and prep avocados. Most of the time I just give up and make guaca mole. The Flexicado helps you remove the flesh from a halved avocado of any size. The innovative design is Dishwasher safe; the teeth of the slicer are easy to clean, plus the Flexicado is kid and adult friendly.

Solar Powered Kitchen Scale

Tanita-1155-Scale-Small Right now the only solar powered item I have in my kitchen is a Tomy Flip Flap. The Flip Flap is amazing - but it really doesn't help out much around the kitchen. I see the Solar Powered Kitchen scale being very useful for portion control. If you were using weight watchers or another portion diet - I think this would be a killer addition. I can see using this to get certain baking recipes right as well.

TAMMOCK Trading Solar Grill

Solar Grill Show03 W460 We've been doing a fair amount of reading in the area of Solar Grills. A solar grill is the perfect addition to your outdoor kitchen and can barbecue fish, chicken, GIANT steaks, and yes - even vegetables. The Solar-Grill has a flexible mirror, which focuses the sun beams on the barbecue cup allowing it to heat up. Your meal is cooked in the self contained barbecue cup an heated evenly from all sides, without direct irradiation by sunlight.

Update:The Tammock site now has an order form for those who want to purchase their own solar grill.

UCO Play and Freeze Ice Cream Maker review

D4C51603Ae90Cd3B713225A970C5B7F0 Interesting little kitchen contraption that makes ice cream in what appears to be the dome from Epcot. No - seriously the Play & Freeze is shapped like a football and has a metal cylinder in side where you add your ingredients to make ice cream.

Apple TV for Your Kitchen?

050616 Hannspree Hmed 630A.Hmedium I think in your kitchen you need a TV made to look like food. I've been following this trend of making TVs look like everything from Mickey Mouse to a Frog - but now apples? It seems Hanspree - a Taiwan based TV maker, is preparing to offer such designs as it launches U.S. operations this summer. I'm pretty sure kids will love these and adults that buy things for kids will love them too.

Magnetic Spice Rack from Zevro

Spicerack 6 Silver-1 I love spice racks. I love magnetic spice racks. Currently we have the Soho spice rack in our kitchen, but I want this new Magnetic Spice Rack from Zevro. The main complaint I have with the Soho is the size of the canisters and the fact they don't fit in your hand that great. The Zevro spice rack seems to fix this by having a longer tubular design that would accomodate - vigorous shaking. Nice!
