"Kitchen Gadget" Wedding Registry at Cooking.com

WeddingregistryMaya and I were discussing registering for wedding stuff so long ago and how much of a pain it was (okay 7 years and I have the itch for more kitchen contraptions).

Way back in 1998, you really couldn't register for that much stuff online - it's very cool to see a place like Cooking.com, with so many kitchen gadgets available have an online Wedding Registry. I can't tell you how much easier it would have been to discuss things at the store and then go home and really pick out things for our registry on the computer instead of arguing it out in the store.

Check out Cooking.com's Wedding Registry site

Mess Free Battering

P409013BI always need to save prep time and also mess. With the Batter Pro you can bread chicken, fish and more fast, without messing with ziploc bags or getting your hands covered in egg, milk, or whatever concoction you are battering with. Just fill The Batter Pro with batter, place meat inside, shake and flip. Also - it's dishwasher safe. I think this may be a purchase in the near future.

OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Kitchen Brush

300I really need this. I am so tired of grabbing the soap bottle, dumping it onto the dishes and/or brush and then having to close the bottle, set it down - etc. OXO really makes amazing products that solve two or even three step problems into one gadget.

OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Kitchen Brush:
Washing dishes just got easier with Oxo's Soap Dispensing Kitchen Brush. The Brush has a soft button that doubles as a seal; just pull open the seal and fill the clear body with soap. Reseal the opening, and you?re ready to dispense soap with the press of a button. Sturdy nylon bristles are perfect for scrubbing, and the Brush is dishwasher safe. The soft handle absorbs pressure and keeps your hand comfortable as you scrub.

Personal Espresso Machine

AromaespressoThis little number is amazing. I'm not that interested in having coffee with Jennifer Jason Leigh, but I am interested in pulling out this little number at a gathering for all to view. It's just really...pretty.

Popgadget: Personal Tech for Women:
I have just in the last week come to terms with my caffeine addiction when I was observed having Jennifer Jason Leigh in Rush-like crashes when I didn't have a coffee by mid-afternoon. At one point I got desperate enough to guzzle Red Bull just so I could stand up. I wish I'd had an Aroma espresso machine instead. It's a personal espresso machine that's small enough to carry in your handbag or briefcase so you can brew a cup no matter where you are. The clear cylinder lets you watch the coffee brew as you agonizingly wait for it to finish.

A Snow Cone Maker to Rival All Others!

B00006Iuyi.01. Sctzzzzzzz Summer is fast approaching. It's going to be hot - very hot. You will need a snow cone maker for:

  • Keeping the kids in check
  • Feeling empowered that the Snoopy Snow cone machine can be beat
  • That a snow cone made by you - an adult can taste better than snow
  • And most of all to enjoy eating flavored ice in the blistering heat
Rival Snow Cone Maker :
Having purchased snow cone makers for years I can attest to the simplicity and safety of this machine. The blade is tucked away not out where a child or young adult can shave off skin while using or cleaning. While all electrical appliances require adult supervision until an older age, I am really impressed with this machine for safety.
