You can use it as bookends and as a knife block. Each side has space for four knives of varying sizes and it has slots for one sharpening steel and one meat fork. It also has rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from slipping.

There is a gadget for every fruit. This knife with an extra long blade is designed for cutting watermelons. It has a high-carbon stainless-steel blade that is 12" long and 1.75" wide and a wood handle. Put it away, next to your mango splitter, pineapple slicer, cherry stoner, and apple corer.

What's something that all good chefs have in common? Sharp knives. We'd love to have more sharp knives too, and this 2-stage electric knife sharpener from Presto makes it quick and easy. Just draw the knife through the sharpener's 2 slots a few times and the blade is razor sharp.

As usual a nice looking product from Eva Solo. This time a pizza cutter. There is not much to say about pizza cutters--they cut pizza.

This funny looking pair of scissors is specially designed to cut and process food in a bowl, making it easy to chop veggies and lettuce for a salad. It has an ergonomic handle, and the blades are stainless steel with micro-serrations that allegedly will never require sharpening.

This bread server is also a cutting board and a knife holder. The handle is actually a knife that you can slide out when you are ready to start slicing. There are also groves in the board to tell you where to cut, so you can make sure your cuts are even. The knife is secured in the board with a magnet.

Have a bunch of odd shaped knives? This knive block will supposedly hold any knife in any position. It has moveable fibers inside that are fully adjustable and hold the knive into position--no slots required. Intriguing.

What says spring more than a set colorful French cheese knives? Very pretty, though not cheap.
