Massive Glass Knife Block

9002 Not much more is known about this knife block but it does cost a little over $1000 US Dollars and is "massive". We think it's downright beautiful. We've been looking for the last few weeks for interesting knife blocks and this one fits the bill (or all the bills you'll need to shell out for it).

Suspend Your Knives in Air

Coltellig-741644-3

Maybe that's not the most accurate phrase one could describe this see-through knife block, but it sure seems like the knives are just floating in thin air. Made from acrylic, the middle part of the knife block holds a set of chrome plated kitchen knives. The knife holder is also made of stainless steel on the sides.

Eva Solo Cheese Slicer

Cheese Slicer This is actually two tools: a rind slicer and a cheese slicer. These two tools have to get along and they do - slicing cheese and getting rid of the right amount of rind every time. Eva Solo has also worked out that removing the rind doesn't have to mean a broken cheese slice wire, as the stainless steel knife will be used to remove the rind and not the slicer. See - great things do come in pairs.

Kershaw Color Fish Knife

B000288Kd4.01. Sclzzzzzzz We got some earlier pictures of these Kershaw knives and were impressed. It just makes sense to have a knife for fish, or vegetables, or meat that is specialized and used for just that. It makes even more sense to have a knife that looks this beautiful. Specifically, the detail on the handle is just stunning. It looks just like a fish bone print.
