All-Clad Cast Aluminum 5 1/2 Quart Dutch Oven with Two Oven Mitts

41yaX0CU3eL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

We just got this dutch oven that was included as part of a larger set of stainless steel pots and pans we got from All Clad. This set includes an All-Clad Cast Aluminum 5-1/2-quart Dutch oven with stainless steel lid and two All-Clad red cotton oven mitts. We made a pretty groovy soup last night, and the dutch oven did the trick - heating evenly and was easy to clean up. The dutch oven is also ideal for making delicious braised meats in the oven while also being versatile enough to simmer soups and stews on the stovetop like we did last night. We're anxious to try a slow cooked chicken in it this weekend - should be delicous.

Cuisinart Green Gourmet Electric Skillet

img34m.jpg

It's funny because we're not sure when the electric skillet left our kitchen, but we used to use one when we had an apartment all the time. We really like this powerful, environmentally friendly electric skillet because it lets you sear, fry, griddle, simmer or braise using a ceramic-based nonstick surface that’s petroleum-free and contains no PTFE or PFOA. The big thing about an electric skillet is you can typically make an entire meal right in it, and add ingredients as you cook to make a sizable meal for 3-4 people easily.

  • 14"-round cooking surface provides more than 150 sq. in. of space.
  • Heat disperses evenly across the entire surface for consistent browning.
  • Nonstick surfaces are easy to clean.
  • Six temperature settings: warm, 250°F, 300°F, 350°F, 400°F and 450°F.
  • An indicator light turns off when the set temperature is reached.
  • The tempered-glass lid makes it easy to monitor cooking progress.
  • Polished-stainless-steel finish.

All Clad 12 Inch Stainless Steel Fry Pan with Lid - Frying Perfection

41vj7C5yLEL._SL500_AA280_.jpg

We've been using this 12-Inch stainless steel fry pan with stainless steel lid from All Clad over the past week and love it. It features a 3-Ply bonded construction with aluminum core that distributes heat evenly, and they aren't kidding. We've made eggs to fried catfish, and clean up is easy as long as you leave a little hot water in the pan. Our favorite part is how the 18/10 stainless steel interior will not react with food.

We're warming up to the idea of replacing all of our pans with enameled cast iron like this Le Creuset skillet. They are also compatible with gas, electric, induction, and ceramic top ranges for all types of cooking.

Coral Hypercolor Pots Change Color When Cooking

500x_111309coralcooking01.jpg

Called "Coral," this concept pot is coated in thermochromic spots, highlighting sectors in the pale blue design with fiery orange and red as the pot heats. I'm not sure I even need to know when pot gets hot, but I think the transformation of the pot would make cooking more fun and maybe a little different each time you used the pot. I do like the latch on handle design so you can position it on the pot anywhere you want to. I wonder what these babies would do in the dishwasher? Maybe that's the best use - telling you when the pots were cool enough to move with your hands or remove from the dishwasher.

Donut Pan - Time to Bake the Donuts

41KG6T9RBCL._SL500_AA280_.jpg

It's totally time to bake the donuts or cakes as some folks call them. The pan comes coated with a high quality nonstick surface for easy release and cleaning. We're thinking the best way to get started is with some straight up apple cinnamon donuts, and then a nice glaze.

41J2WXVHVRL._SL500_AA280_.jpg

We've been searching for a replacement pressure cooker here at Kitchen Contraptions, and this top rated pressure cooker looks like it might fit the bill. This 3-quart pressure cooker/canner holds 20 pint jars or 7 quart jars, and is constructed of extra-strong, warp-resistant aluminum; suitable for use on regular and smooth-top ranges. It has an air vent/cover lock that allows pressure to build up only when the cover is closed properly. We also like the easy-to-read gauge that automatically registers a complete range of processing pressures

All-Clad Ultimate Chicken Roaster

Chickenroaster.jpg

There is nothing better than roasted chicken and this roasting pan looks amazing. It includes a detachable suspension arm that will hold the chicken above the pan's surface. The chicken will roast evenly and the juices will drip into the vegetables at the bottom of the pan. The arm also has a reservoir at the tip that can be filled with beer or other flavor infusers.
