As I continue to look for more cookware options, I found this 10-piece set. Not only do the pans have a multiple reinforced nonstick technology that is designed to outlast traditional nonstick coatings, they are also dishwasher safe. We received a mini version of this oval au gratin pan from Le Creuset. I'm not sure what you would use the mini version for--my daughter used it to make a mini apple pie from the leftover crust of our big pie--but the pan itself was great. It cooked evenly in the oven. The pie came out easily and didn't stick to the pan. The pan comes in three sizes and eight colors. I think I would find a larger pan much more useful than the mini.

Now that you have a good crop of vegetables or fruit from your garden, it is time to start canning. This pot can act as either a pressure cooker or a canner. It has a rack that fits in the pot to keep jars up off the bottom, so that liquid can circulate underneath. The cooker has a lid that locks down during canning or cooking and an inner sealing ring to keep the steam in. There is also an overpressure plug that will let off steam if it builds up excessively and a pressure dial gauge, so that pressure can be kept constant during canning.

I saw this featured on America's Test Kitchen yesterday as the best indoor grill pan. It is made of durable hard-anodized aluminum, is coated with a nonstick surface, and has grill marks on the top and bottom to better conduct heat.
