We typically like our tea a bit more interesting, and why not our teapot too! The Soropot Teapot combines unique features plus an interesting design. The arched handle acts as a heat sink to keep the tea from oversteeping, and the arched support straddles a burner on the stove to heat the water in the middle container to that perfect boiling temperature.

Remember last year when you had the less than stellar roasting setup for your turkey at Thanksgiving? The right roasting pan
makes all the difference when your goal is to produce a perfectly roasted turky, and these heavy-gauge roasters will exceed your expectations. Not only will they make your turkey look better when lifting the bird from the oven, but they have excellent heat conduction and well-placed, ergonomically designed handles. You can roast up to a 24-lb. bird.

As I continue to look for more cookware options, I found this 10-piece set. Not only do the pans have a multiple reinforced nonstick technology that is designed to outlast traditional nonstick coatings, they are also dishwasher safe. The pans are also supposed to be twice as hard as stainless steel. The set includes 1.5 quart covered saucepan, 2 quart covered saucepan, 8 quart covered stockpot, 8 inch open French skillet, 10 inch open French skillet, 10 inch/3 quart covered saute with helper handle.

Not enough room for your wok, fry-pan, and saucepan plus lids? We've been testing out the Jamie Oliver Survival Kit that is designed to solve this problem. The Survival Kit contains all you’ll ever need to cook most dishes in your kitchen (for us some zucchini and chicken), and it stores away in one stack - saving you loads of room in your kitchen cupboard.
The Jamie Oliver Survival Kit comes packed in an nifty box,
with loads of pictures.
Inside the Jamie Oliver Survival Kit you’ll find:
- 26cm Wok
- 26cm Frypan
- 20cm Saucepan
- 2 Glass lids, with Silicone rim (20cm & 26cm)
- 1 Universal Handle
What did we think? Did these cooking pans hold up to the dreaded evening meal test? Did we find ourselves using them over other pots and pans after a week of testing?

We received a mini version of this oval au gratin pan from Le Creuset. I'm not sure what you would use the mini version for--my daughter used it to make a mini apple pie from the leftover crust of our big pie--but the pan itself was great. It cooked evenly in the oven. The pie came out easily and didn't stick to the pan. The pan comes in three sizes and eight colors. I think I would find a larger pan much more useful than the mini.

It is time we replaced our cookware, so I'm researching new cookware. This cookware looks very sturdy. It is constructed of professional grade, hand-cast aluminum and has a thick base that doesn't warp. The set includes 1-Quart Covered Saucepan, 2-Quart Covered Saucepan, 5-Quart Covered Dutch Oven With Rack, and a 10-Inch Open Skillet

Now that you have a good crop of vegetables or fruit from your garden, it is time to start canning. This pot can act as either a pressure cooker or a canner. It has a rack that fits in the pot to keep jars up off the bottom, so that liquid can circulate underneath. The cooker has a lid that locks down during canning or cooking and an inner sealing ring to keep the steam in. There is also an overpressure plug that will let off steam if it builds up excessively and a pressure dial gauge, so that pressure can be kept constant during canning.
