Preserve Large Colander :: colander, large colander, recycled colanders, eco friendly kitchen

The Preserve Large Colander is designed by people who love to cook–and who know that delicious food depends on a healthy planet. The durable colander is made out of 100% recycled plastic, and holds 3.5 quarts. We actually have one of these colanders in BLUE, and we find the easy-gripping, fast-draining, dishwasher-safe, BPA-free colander to be our favorite of two colanders in our kitchen. Also - we know we mentioned dishwasher safe, but this thing really does clean up quickly in the dishwasher and the holes in it are always clean after a run.

Kuhn Rikon HotPan 2 Liter Casserole

Kuhn Rikon has a new set of hot pan products including this 2 liter casserole. The heavy-weight, non-reactive 18/10 stainless cook pan works well on both conventional and induction stoves. It features a heat-efficient core that distributes heat evenly so food won't burn or stick, and there is a serving holder to keep food hot after cooking for 2 hours. It's nice to see a pot that comes with a little extra stuff, and serving a casserole table side in an attractive dish and serving holder is a plus.

Grilling Toppers from Mr. Bar B Q

Mr. Bar B Q has a bunch of really interesting grilling toppers - which really means skillets you can use on the grill. They also have a grill wok, and a large surface grill piece you can use to cook salmon filet and other items that might fall through your grill grates. We live in great grilling times people, and we currently have been using a grilling basket to make amazing potatoes that come out crispy. We can imagine having a handle with our grilling skillet will only improve our grilling of said potatoes.

Colander-Serving Bowl Hybrid Saves Space

This bowl and colander hybrid saves space by combining a handle that pivots to open the strainer in the base. We love multi-purpose kitchen contraptions, and this one is also really attractive.

Hello Kitty Fry Pan Makes More Than Cute Food

We've been looking for a pan that would be cute, and fun for our two kids to use and we think this is a winner. The Hello Kitty Fry pan will make more than just cute food as you can cook anything you'd normally cook in this cat pan. We love the pink handle, and we think a Totoro version would also be welcome.

  • Compact size is perfect for cooking one egg or melting butter.
  • Nonstick surface ensures easy food release and cleanup.
  • Even heat distribution promises great-tasting meals.
  • Heat-resistant plastic handle lets you safely flip foods or remove pan from heat.

Granite Ware 19-Quart Enamel-on-Steel 2-Tier Clam-and-Lobster Steamer

We may be getting ahead ourselves, but we really are dying for a clam bake with lobsters even if we have to cook it inside. This 19-quart steamer set made of carbon steel with porcelain-enamel coating has side loop handles on each tier for safe, secure transport of the precious seafood cargo. The domed lid with loop handle helps trap heat, moisture, and nutrients and if you haven't had steamed because you boil your lobsters - you're missing out. And our plan to cook inside if it's too cold is perfect with this steamer as it's safe for outdoor cooking or on electric or gas stovetop.

Wabash Valley Farms Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper

We make popcorn all the time and use a big kettle to make it, but this seems to be a better option. This popcorn popper makes 6 quarts of theater style popcorn in just three minutes. The patented stirring mechanism prevents sticking and burning by stirring every kernel until it pops, and clean up consists of just wiping the unit with a paper towel.
