We've never really tried a pressure cooker, but some of our friends rave about how they can really speed up your cooking times, and reduce your engergy bill because cooking takes less time. With Kuhn Rikon's Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker, you can do both. By using their pressure cooker to prepare everything from risotto to roasts to cheesecakes, you'll reduce your cooking time by one-third and your energy use by 70 percent. The 18/10 stainless steel cooker won't react to foods being cooked, and the solid thermal aluminum bottom promotes even browning and rapid heat absorption. The bottom pan is dishwasher safe.

You can use this tray to cook nachos or fajitas on the grill, stovetop, or oven and then to keep your food warm while you serve it. If you refrigerate it before using it, it also works for keeping food cool. It is made from an aluminum alloy.

It's getting a little colder here in the northeast, and that's when we start to get the itch for Dim Sum. We'll go to our local Super 88, and pick up a variety of items that need steaming. We really like the 10-inch bamboo steamer from Typhoon, as it can fit up to 6 steamed buns, and a load of steamed dumplings. You can also use it to steam vegetables, and other yummy things as well.
- Sits in a wok or on a saucepan, without water touching the bottom
- Interlocking tiers stay together; measures 6-1/2 inches tall
- Wash by hand with soap and water, air dry;

I love risotto, but it takes a lot of effort. Mario Batali has a risotto pot made from cast-iron with a porcelain enamel finish. The rounded edges allow access to all areas of the pot, which is important in stirring the risotto. Includes a recipe booklet and wooden spoon.

We like the look of the Clara Kettle, and think seeing how the water is doing while boiling may save us a few $$$ in the long run. The body and the handle come in heat-resistant see-through borosilicate glass. The Clara Kettle also features a whistle, silicone handles, and blue accents. It can be used with electro, ceramic or gas stoves (no induction). All parts are dishwasher safe. 59 oz.

The simplehuman steel frame dishrack has a solid steel frame that matches the aesthetic of upscale kitchen appliances. A fingerprint-proof coating helps protect against smudges, and a natural bamboo knife block is gentle on sharp blades. Flip-up tines and flip-out cup holders provide multiple storage options. The drip tray, utensil holder, and inner wire frame are all dishwasher safe.
We like how rugged it looks. Our current simplehuman dishrack has served us well, but now is going on 5 years. It's a bit tired and we think this could be in our dishrack upgrade future.

These nonstick saucepans are environmentally safe. The pans are certified PFOA free, so if you are worried about chemicals in your cookware, but still want nonstick, these may be the answer. Unlike other nonstick pans, these pans are also safe for metal utensils and allow for browning, searing, and deglazing. Instead of using PFOA, the nonstick surface is created by firing a ceramic-titanium compound into the pan.

This chicken cooker allows you to make beer can chicken in the oven. Instead of using a beer can, the dish has a built in reservoir for beer, wine, broth, or juice.

This is a nice looking pot. This 7-quart cast aluminum stock pot has three layers of nonstick surface prevent sticking. It also has an ovenproof glass lid. And it comes with mittens for the handles, so you can move the pot from the stove.
