My daughter loves to stir her dad's coffee. But if you don't have someone like that around the house, and stirring is just to much for you, Hammacher Schlemmer has a self stirring mug. The mug has a battery-operated propeller at the bottom that spins at the touch of a button on the handle. It also has a lid that doubles as a coaster.

I love the Pavina Double-Walled Coffee Mug. This is a ceramic cup with the same concept. It has an insulatating double wall so the cup is cool to the touch even with a hot beverage inside. It comes in a set of two.

Salad dressing is usually so messy. This dressing shaker, however, has a pouring spout that supposedly catches drops before they fall on the table. It also has a tight fitting top, which retains the taste of your dressing. It is dishwasher and microwave safe.

You are having an outdoor party. You hate to have guests carry around the heavy plates and utensils from your kitchen, but plastic utensils and dinnerware are so tacky. What to do? This dinnerware set looks great and is plastic. It was designed by Phillippe Starck, and the set contains glassware, plates, and flatware. Another benefit: the plates have a horn like projection that the cups can fit into, allowing ease of movement throughout the backyard.

Grilling fish on a plank is great way to add a smokey flavor to your fish. This plank comes with a handy plank holder, so you can grill the fish on the plank and then insert the plank in the holder and transfer to the table. The set includes one holder and four cedar grilling planks.

I don't love the the look of this, but I do love anything that can be used for multiple purposes. It's a cake stand! No, it's a fruit bowl! No, it's a chip and dip bowl!

I have a thing for fun glasses. This designer specializes in brightly colored objects. There are four glasses in a set, and they come in orange, light orange, red, and green.

These crack me up. Designed to prevent the problem of trying to hold a wine glass and a plate at the same time, the stem of the glass fits into the slot on the plate. The plates are acrylic and the glass are molded of high-clarity polycarbonate. Both are dishwasher safe. It is probably better than balancing your glass on top of your plate, which I have done more than once.
