Salton Quesadilla Maker

B00006BSX0.01._AA280_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

I love a cheese filled tortilla. Yum. Yum. I didn't think it was difficult to make a quesadilla the old fashioned way, but this makes it even easier. The quesadilla maker cooks the quesadillas in 4 to 5 minutes. The nonstick cooking plates hold tortillas up to 12 inches in diameter and divides the tortilla into six manageable pieces.

Cuisinart Duet Blender/Food Processor

BFP-703R_b.jpg

Instead of taking up room in your cupboard with a blender and a food processor (like I do), this Cuisinart Duet combines the two. It comes with a blending jar and a work bowl, which can both be used on the same base. The jar holds 40 ounces and the work cup holds three cups.

L'Equip Juicer Pulp Ejector

MINIPE.jpg

I'm not a juice person, but this juicer looks cool. It ejects the pulp out the rear, so you have juice that is free of foam. Other features include a motor that automatically supplies more or less power as needed; a stainless steel bowl, blade and basket; and an extra large feeding tube.

Gluten Free Bread Machine

B000Fzz0Ve.01. Aa280 Sclzzzzzzz V38710428

Gluten allergies can be tough and those darn glutens seem to be everywhere. This bread machine features a unique "gluten free cycle" so you can make bread without it. Then you can wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread with this programmable bread machine. The machine also offers pasta, jam, and pizza-dough cycles. Other highlights include an easy-to-read LCD display, a pause function, and a detachable lid. Avoid the use of metal utensils with the removable baking pan, which should be washed by hand in order to protect its nonstick surface.

Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker

ICE-45l.jpg

Just because it is getting cold, doesn't mean we can't still eat ice cream. With this soft serve ice cream maker from Cuisinart, you can make ice cream, yogurt, and sorbet at home. It also has three built-in condiment dispensers, so you can add sprinkles or other mix-ins. It supposedly makes 1-1/2 quarts of frozen dessert in a little as 2 minutes.

Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker

Someday we have to buy a rice cooker. This one seems pretty cool. It automatically makes adjustments in temperature and cooking time, depending on the amount of rice being prepared. It has settings for white, sushi, mixed, porridge, sweet, semi-brown, brown, rinse-free, and quick cooking.

Moreover, the unit offers automatic keep-warm and extended keep-warm cycles that maintain ideal serving temperatures, and its reheat cycle allows cooked rice to be reheated and served as freshly cooked. For added convenience, the rice cooker provides an LCD clock and timer, a removable washable lid, a retractable power cord that saves on counter space, and a contemporary white exterior, which makes for an attractive addition to any kitchen. Accessories include two measuring cups (one for regular rice and one for rinse-free rice), one nonstick rice spoon/scooper, a rice spoon holder that attaches to the side of the machine, and easy-to-follow recipes. The rice cooker measures approximately 14 by 8 by 9 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
