We consume a lot of expensive yogurt here at Kitchen Contraptions, and we've always wondered what we'd need to make it less expensive at home. This electric yogurt maker produces up to 42 ounces of homemade yogurt at a time, and uses fresh ingredients--no artificial additives or preservatives required. It comes with 7 6-ounce lidded glass jars for making single-serving portions. Also the see-through cover allows you to see how the yogurt is coming along. We'll have to see if this is something we'll get in the coming months.

It features a brushed stainless-steel housing; commercial-style compressor freezer; and prefreezing is not required. We've never had such a high end ice cream machine, but we expect making our favorite maple walnut ice cream should be a bit easier than our hand cranked ice cream machine we currently have.
