Tom, Dick & Harry - Designer Tea, Sugar and Coffee Storage Jars

Tom, Dick & Harry are a set of porcelain tea, sugar and coffee storage jars designed to make an entertaining and stylish addition to any kitchen worktop. We love how they look a bit like Shmoo. The glints in their eyes indicate what's inside (T: tea, S: sugar & C: coffee) and their air-tight heads have room to fit the handle of a spoon.

Coleman 54-Quart Steel Belted Chest Cooler - Best Coolers

Having just returned from a week long vacation at the beach, we saw a lot of cooler action. One thing we found both fascinating, and annoying was SUVs that don't have enough room in them to actually fit a cooler, so they tow it on a platform behind the SUV. Go figure. Well - we think if they want the ultimate cooler instead of one of those plastic deals they should get this 54-quart steel-belted cooler with stainless-steel lid, case, and hardware. The cooler pays tribute to original Coleman design first launched in 1954, and the sturdy stainless-steel handles feature rubber comfort grips for transport. It even has a rust-resistant drain

Endo Magnet Fridge Clips - Hold Your Stuff

Fridge clips are hard to find, and we've been lucky enough to find these cool magnetic clips called ENDO. You clip the ends of whatever you want to the fridge by placing the item at Endo's end.
A solid mass of neodymium, silicone and steel, “Endo” presents an elegant alternative to conventional means of magnetic attachment. No springs. No coils. No internal moving parts. Endo is the one-piece all-purpose silicone magnet with springy clipping action.
Secures poetry, recipes, photos, memos and documents to the fridge, message board or metal surface.
The magnets in Endo are very strong, we love the feel of the silicone on our finger tips, and you can use them for just about anything you can think of to hang from your fridge or magnet ready surface. We've been using them to hang up a variety of spoons, and our iPod Shuffle.

Review: FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer - Automatic Bag Sealing and Marination

Given these troubled economic times, storying and preserving the costly food you purchase should be on your mind. In the past we used Tupperware or other methods like zip-loc bags to store both our leftovers, and our frozen meat and vegetables. After using the new Foodsaver Vacuum Sealer for the past month, we know both of those methods are going thee way of the dodo. Not only did we experience longer saving of our leftovers, but meat sealed and frozen had no freezer burn after 1 month.

The unit is sleek and sits way back on your counters.
The FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer with SmartSeal Technology makes storage a breeze, and it's not going to spoil or get freezer burned like other methods. We also used the FoodSaver to vacuum marinate meat and fish, and found both the marinator (included), and marinating in vacuum sealed bags provided more flavor than our Vacu Vin marinator.

Vacuum sealed coconut rice. After 3 days - perfectly fresh
and yummy.

Backpack Fridge - Take Your Kitchen with You

We're always on the look out for ways to extend our kitchen beyond it's narrow borders. The Fridge Backpack is a great way to bring more food, keep it fresh, and also take a relaxing hike with your kitchen strapped to your back. Okay - so it doesn't have a stove, or countertops, or other things you might expect, but the Fridge Backpack concept is solid. Most portable coolers are handheld or just too large for hiking, and this one is the perfect size.
The pack features "batteries" that can be recharged at home or in the car. Dining will also be civilized, because all your utensils, cup, and plate are part of the casing. It's just a concept for now, but we hope it becomes a real product to purchase soon.

Bean Vacuum Sucks The Air Out of Your Coffee - Keeps Coffee Fresh

The Bean Vac canister will keep your coffee fresh because it lacks air. Seriously, if you want to keep your ground coffee or whole coffee beans fresh, you're going to want to keep it air free. Air breaks down the coffee goodness, and makes your coffee taste bad. How does it work? Simply lock the silicone-gasket lid and Bean Vac's built-in vacuum pump creates a secure seal in seconds. Ideal for other foods such as cookies, nuts, spices, tea and chocolates.
