Caramel apples will soon make their October debut for Halloween, but we also know we enjoy a good caramel apple at the fair. If you're looking for a somewhat healthy activity to do with a bunch of kids then making caramel apples might also be a great way to pass those last days of Summer.
Features include:
- The device's stainless steel melting pot is heated by an electric heating element instead of a stove
- A warming setting keeps heated caramel silky smooth under a transparent lid between dunkings
- The included divided tray rotates around the unit, so you can dip apples into chopped nuts, sprinkles, or candy without reaching across the pot or tangling its cord.
- The pot holds 14 ounces of caramel and has a cool-to-the-touch handle for easy removal.
- The appliance also melts chocolate for fondue.
- Washes easily by hand.

Currently sold in China for ¥13,650, this side by side refrigerator from Bosch has a frameless and strikingly coloured glass front in egglplant. Yes this is a purple 604 litre refrigerator that holds food and keeps things cool just in the right color. We love the simple lines, and wish we could also get this in chartreuse green. It also has a "fuzzy controls" display to give you temperature and other info on the front.

LG Electronics has created a fridge that has door-in-door technology. That's right - as you can see there's a french door built right into the main door allowing you to grab stuff quickly. LG’s proprietary Door-In-Door feature is a magnetically sealed section of the right refrigerator door that releases and allows consumers access to the door bin without opening the entire refrigerator. Simply push a button on the door handle to release the magnetic seal. This interior compartment provides consumers quick, easy access to the most commonly needed items in the fridge such as canned or bottled drinks, salad dressings and condiments.
Because of the Door-in-Door feature, less cool air escapes when the easy access compartment is opened, keeping cold air in the rest of your fridge where it matters most.

It's hot even here in the Boston area, and we think the pim10bls portable ice maker which features an easy-to-use touch pad with illuminated indicators, and will make 26-1/2-pound of ice every 24-hours could help take the heat out of Summer. It at least can help to cool some yummy drinks, and this portable ice maker doesn't need plumbing, installation or a drain because it's completely portable. That means it can be used in many locations such as boats, cottages and basements. Yes - cool basements. Let's hope it doesn't make too much heat while it makes the ice.

Laying in bed and eating dinner is one thing, but having your bed transform into your eating area is another. This transforming dinner table bed thing is interesting. We like the idea of this in a camping situation or perhaps in some modern home that has only 200 square feet in it. Wherever it ends up you'll be fed and comfy.
